It is not uncommon to be confused and frustrated regarding the impending doom of graduation and what form of employment may be available for you as a current (or prospective) COGS student. As COGS students, there multidisciplinary nature of our degree blurs the lines of what may be possible with our skillset and what isn't. However, it must be noted and stressed that the path you may take post graduation is not dependent on the degree that you achieve but the skills you have learned in and outside the classroom. Resultantly, not everyone in this program will achieve identical experiences.

On a holistic view, past COGs graduates have achieved successes in multiple fields of work. When analyzing data from 115 graduate students from years '04-'16, the most popular fields of employment for all entries were plotted in the distribution below. Here, a large portion of grads delved into software engineering, user experience (this includes product management and product design), and data analysis. Moreover, majority of students who pursued further education, are currently working as doctors, psychologists, or Phd researchers.
With this in mind, there are many doors of entry for multidisciplinary graduates such as you!
Brain and cognition (ba/ b.sc)
Based on data allocated from 115 graduates, 40% of Cogs Psyc majors were in the faculty of science and 21% was composed of Arts bachelors.
Bachelor of arts
Of students who pursued a bachelor of arts in psychology, those who entered the workforce without further education found careers in UX, marketing, and research among many others. Below is a distribution for each.
Among the remaining students, those who pursued further education pursued more diverse careers with some working as architects, entrepreneurs, and human resources employees.
